The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) within the Office of the President was established in 2012 to foster one of Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s most valuable resources: our faculty.
Directed by internationally renowned physician-scientist and breast imaging expert Laura Liberman, the OFD serves as a resource for recruiting, developing, and enhancing the environment for Memorial Sloan-Kettering faculty.
Our specific areas of focus include initiatives for women, junior faculty, faculty at Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s expanding regional network sites, and students. Our faculty recruitment initiatives embrace institutional diversity, and our academic programs for students focus on increasing the diversity and number of outstanding physician-scientists in oncology.
