Program Administrator, Office of Faculty Development
Melanie Steele is the program administrator for the Office of Faculty Development and the Office of Diversity Programs in Clinical Care, Research, and Training. She has been instrumental in creating programs to enhance diversity in patient care, research, education, and outreach, and in enhancing the career development of physician and scientist faculty.
Nicola Buchanan is the program associate for the Office of Faculty Development and the Office of Diversity Programs in Clinical Care, Research and Training. She holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling, and plays an integral role in developing Memorial Sloan-Kettering faculty, staff, and students.
Director of the Office of Faculty Development and attending radiologist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Laura Liberman is an internationally renowned expert in breast imaging and breast needle biopsy. She has served as Director of Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Program for Women Faculty Affairs since 2005 and is a resource for the creation of similar programs around the country.
