Memorial Sloan Kettering has published the 2012 Community Service Plan Update, which highlights our initiatives to help meet the cancer-related healthcare needs of our community, improve access to healthcare services for the underserved, and provide charitable care.

Each year, we provide an update on our community programs in the areas surrounding our treatment facilities in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Sleepy Hollow, Hauppauge, Commack, and Rockville Centre, New York, as well as in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

Our initiatives include breast and cervical cancer screenings for uninsured women at the Breast Examination Center of Harlem, a tobacco cessation program, culturally tailored outreach led by the Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities Service, and dozens of free lectures and workshops open to the community, among other services.

Learn more about our ongoing community programs and services, and stay updated on our progress by subscribing to our quarterly community newsletter. If you are a member of the community and would like to provide input on our community programs, please contact us at 212-639-3199 or communityaffairs@mskcc.org.
