Protocol

Full Title
Glioma International Case-Control Study
Purpose

The purpose of this study is to learn about why some people develop brain tumors and others do not. Participants will include people with and without gliomas.

They will be interviewed about their personal background, other medical conditions, medication use, family history of cancer, radiation exposure, and lifestyle factors. The interview will take about 45 to 60 minutes and can be completed in person or by telephone. Participants will also supply a small blood sample for genetic analysis.

Researchers will compare the interview responses and genetic data from the participants with and without glioma.
