I have spent my career at Memorial Sloan-Kettering as a breast imaging radiologist where I interpret digital mammography including tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI and perform breast biopsies under imaging guidance. Currently I serve as Chief of the Breast Imaging Service and am responsible for the clinical, teaching and research breast imaging program at all Memorial Sloan-Kettering sites.
At Memorial Sloan-Kettering we screen for breast cancer at all risk levels. Screening for breast cancer when the lesion is small and treatable can save a woman’s life which is why I am strongly drawn to the field of breast imaging. We have pioneered high risk screening with MRI and offer screening with MRI, ultrasound, contrast enhanced digital mammography, and tomosynthesis.
