Kimberly N. Feigin, MD

Administratively, I am an active member of the New York Breast Imaging Society, an organization providing state-of-the-art continuing education for breast imaging radiologists, technologists and nurses in the New York metropolitan area. I have served as treasurer, vice president, and president of this influential educational society. I am also currently on the executive committee, and serve as secretary and treasurer, of the New York Roentgen Society, another leading association of New York City–area radiologists. 

My clinical focus on breast cancer screening and diagnosis provides the basis for my research activities. My most widely cited article in the radiology literature evaluated the contribution of clinical breast examination to the detection of breast cancer in a screening population. Working with multidisciplinary members of the breast disease management team, I have also been involved as a radiology consultant in a number of clinical trials evaluating novel medications and novel dosing schedules of existing medications in an attempt to develop better treatments for patients with metastatic breast cancer.
