I am a radiologist specializing in breast imaging and body CT. Since joining the Memorial Sloan-Kettering faculty in 2003, I have dedicated my time to clinical care, education, and collaborative research.
In addition to interpreting CT scans and radiographs of the body, I interpret all modalities of screening and diagnostic breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI. For presurgical patients, I perform all types of image-guided breast interventional procedures, including stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound-guided biopsy, MR-guided biopsy, and radioactive seed placement and wire localizations. I am also certified in the interpretation of digital breast tomosynthesis, also known as 3-D mammography.
As coordinator of Continuing Medical Education for the Breast Imaging Service in the Department of Radiology, I teach and mentor students and postgraduates in various stages of their medical training. I am also responsible for organizing educational meetings and programs for our own breast imaging faculty in addition to those for visitors and observers from the rest of the country and around the world.
