I am a surgical breast oncologist with a practice dedicated exclusively to the treatment of breast diseases, and I perform all aspects of breast cancer surgery. I see patients both at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center in Manhattan as well as at our regional care facility in Commack, Long Island. At both locations a multidisciplinary team approach is utilized to ensure delivery of the highest quality breast cancer care.
In addition to providing compassionate patient care, I am also involved in research that addresses our care of breast cancer patients. I have previously studied the utility of MRI in the work-up of breast cancer patients and have investigated the surgical treatment of triple negative cancers. Currently I am engaged in research to help personalize the screening recommendations for women at high risk for the development of breast cancer. My hope is that my research here at Memorial Sloan-Kettering will enable us to deliver more individualized care in the future.
