I have authored papers on a variety of subjects including cytoreductive surgery, intraperitoneal chemotherapy, minimally invasive surgery, sphincter-sparing rectal surgery, mechanisms of tumor progression, and predictors of outcome following surgery. I serve as an instructor at Weill Cornell Medical College for other surgeons learning laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery.
I have completed six races for Fred’s Team — NYC Half Marathons each year from 2010 through 2013 and NYC Marathons in 2010 and 2011 — and in so doing have raised more than $30,000 to support cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. I will be running the 2013 NYC Marathon for Fred's Team in November. To learn more about Fred’s Team or make a donation for 2013, visit my Fred's Team page.
