Full Title
A Phase II Evaluation of Pazopanib (NSC # 737754, IND #75648) in the Treatment of Recurrent or Persistent Carcinosarcoma of the Uterus (GOG-0230D)
Purpose

Pazopanib is an oral medication (taken by mouth) which fights cancers by interfering with the development and growth of the blood vessels tumors need to grow and spread. It is approved for treating an aggressive form of kidney cancer called renal cell carcinoma.

In this Gynecologic Oncology Group study, researchers want to see if pazopanib is effective against a type of uterine cancer called carcinosarcoma that has recurred or persisted despite treatment.
