Endometrial cancer, the most common gynecologic cancer in the United States today, originates in the lining of the uterus, known as the endometrium. This kind of cancer is diagnosed in more than 40,100 women every year. Endometrial cancer is often found at its earliest, most curable stages by women who notice abnormal vaginal bleeding.
