I joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering in 1992 as a clinical nurse caring for children and adults undergoing bone marrow transplantation. Upon becoming a nurse practitioner in 1998, I continued on the transplant service, focusing on the daily management of adult cancer patients through all phases of transplantation.
I became a Nurse Practitioner Coordinator in 2012. In this role, I am responsible for the management of nurse practitioners on the adult bone marrow transplant, leukemia and lymphoma/myeloma services in the inpatient setting. I work collaboratively with the medical and nursing administration to coordinate the care of patients on these units. I also continue to provide direct care to patients.
