I am a hematologist-oncologist specializing in the care of patients with leukemia. Along with other colleagues on the Leukemia Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, I am dedicated to providing the best possible care by treating each patient as if he or she were a member of my own family.
As an active translational investigator, I have spent time both in the laboratory and in clinics to bring new and innovative treatments to patients with leukemia. I am particularly interested in developing more-effective and personalized therapies for patients with acute and chronic lymphoid leukemia, and am the lead investigator of a clinical trial using genetically modified T cells to treat patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). I am also a co-principal investigator on several other clinical trials in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and CLL.
