Jamila N. Brutus

I joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering in 2012 as a nurse practitioner on the inpatient Leukemia and Lymphoma Services. I am responsible for, among other tasks, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert care and managing the care of patients receiving chemotherapy who also have complicated medical issues related to their disease.

I started working as a registered nurse in hematology-oncology in 2005 at NYU Langone Medical Center. I cared for patients with complicated medical issues, administered and cared for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, and assumed a leadership role as a charge nurse. I also participated on the infection control committee.
