Before joining Memorial Sloan-Kettering as a nurse practitioner in 2012, I worked for several years as an oncology registered nurse at NYU Medical Center. The experience I had there with patients with blood disorders inspired my passion to continue to serve and advocate for this population.
As a hematology nurse practitioner, I work directly with our highly awarded medical, nursing, and administrative team to provide comprehensive care. In my spare time I also enjoy teaching health assessment as an adjunct professor at Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing.
The motto I take with me to work every day is the Hawaiian saying “A'ohe hana nui ka alu'ia,” which translates to “No task is too big when done together.”
