I am a board-certified medical oncologist focusing on the treatment of solid tumors. I have a particular interest and expertise in the treatment of lung cancer and cancers of the head and neck. I am actively involved in weekly conferences such as tumor boards and medical oncology lung conferences with colleagues at Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s main campus, where we discuss patient care and the latest research and treatment options in these fields.
To provide optimal treatment for patients with lung or head and neck cancer it is often necessary to coordinate care with other specialists such as speech and swallow therapists, nutritionists, physical therapists, and social workers. We are fortunate at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Sleepy Hollow to have access to these resources at the Center’s main campus in Manhattan. In addition, for patients who wish to receive their care close to home, we can collaborate with our community physicians and healthcare teams to provide some of these supportive and non-cancer services locally. Many patients require treatment approaches such as radiation and surgery, so I work closely with my Memorial Sloan-Kettering colleagues in radiation oncology and surgical oncology to ensure the best possible treatment options for each patient.
At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Sleepy Hollow, I am proud to be a part of a team of dedicated nurses, physicians, and support staff, who work together to ensure that patients receive state-of-the-art cancer care in a safe and supportive environment.
