Pinaki R. Dutta, MD, PhD

I am a board-certified radiation oncologist with a wide range of clinical and research expertise, and I am a member of the multidisciplinary team that treats patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering’ facility in Rockville Centre, Long Island. This team-oriented approach allows my colleagues and me to deliver state-of-the-art care to patients who wish to be treated close to their homes.

I treat a wide variety of cancers, and I am particularly interested in using advanced radiation techniques to treat tumors located near critical organs, to both increase the therapeutic dose to the tumor and reduce the amount of radiation that reaches healthy tissues. Here at Memorial Sloan Kettering Rockville Centre, we offer advanced radiation therapy approaches that allow us to more precisely target radiation including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), 3D conformal radiation therapy, and high-dose-rate brachytherapy.

Clinical Expertise

Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy and High-Dose-Rate Brachytherapy for Head and Neck Cancers; Gastrointestinal Cancers; Breast Cancers; Lung Cancers; Gynecological Malignancies; Prostate Cancer; Brain Tumors; Lymphomas; and Soft Tissue Sarcomas.
