I am a medical oncologist who specializes in treating malignancies of the gastrointestinal tract; including esophageal, stomach, colorectal, and pancreatic cancers. My laboratory research focuses on understanding the signaling pathways activated by tumor cells that lead to tumor cell growth and survival. I am particularly interested in using this information to inform clinical trials and develop mechanism-based therapeutic strategies.
