As a head and neck and skull base surgeon, I specialize in management of benign and malignant tumors of the skull base. I am honored to be part of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center team as we are able to incorporate minimally invasive techniques for care of patients with lesions of the anterior skull base. This involves using endoscopic, transnasal approaches for certain tumors, including pituitary adenomas, meningiomas, chordomas, and craniopharyngiomas. When surgery is necessary, I work in concert with neurosurgeons to both remove tumor and to minimize the collateral damage to normal tissue. This enables us to limit unwanted side effects of surgery without compromising tumor resection.

My research interests address oncologic and functional outcomes following treatment of head and neck and skull base tumors. I am specifically interested in assessing quality of life following minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques.
