Jenna Goldberg, MD

I am a medical oncologist and hematologist specializing in the use of stem cell transplantation to treat patients with hematologic malignancies (cancers that arise from blood cells). My clinical practice is focused on allogeneic transplantation, a procedure in which we provide patients with new bone marrow derived from the stem cells of a donor. In my research, I am examining ways to promote recovery in patients who experience prolonged immune deficiencies after undergoing an allogeneic transplant. I am also working toward establishing a dedicated clinical and research program to study prevention and treatment of graft-versus-host disease, a significant immune-mediated complication of allogeneic transplantation.
