Look Good Feel Better is a free program designed to help cancer patients counter the appearance-related effects of treatment.

Professional makeup artists and trained volunteers can help you adjust to hair loss, skin and nail changes, and other health and beauty issues. Participants receive an informational booklet and kit containing cosmetics pre-tested for sensitive skin as well as tips and strategies for applying makeup, buying and wearing wigs or other head coverings, and handling changes that can result from chemotherapy and radiation.

To register for a class at Memorial Sloan Kettering or to find a program in your community, call the American Cancer Society at 800-227-2345 or visit the Look Good Feel Better's Program Finder section.
