I am a hospitalist who specializes in the inpatient care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies and sarcomas. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, I lead a team of residents, interns, and nurse practitioners that strives to provide our patients with the highest quality of inpatient care. Throughout a patient's hospitalization, I maintain close communication with the patient's primary oncologist. In this way, I seek to provide a smooth transition of care between the inpatient and outpatient settings.
I am also interested in providing a rewarding educational experience for our residents and medical students here at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. To that end, I am involved in the organization of our transitional year internship and internal medicine residency programs, and I work to optimize the educational opportunities for our trainees in the realms of both oncology and internal medicine.
