I joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering in 1978 and have been the Chief of the Center’s Renal Service for the past 21 years. Along with other doctors on the Renal Service I consult with colleagues throughout the Center (surgeons, oncologists, pediatric oncologists, other specialists, and physicians in the intensive care unit) to help provide optimal care for patients who are experiencing the disorders described above.
The Renal Service also conducts clinical research and participates in the teaching activities of the Center. Doctors on the service are members of the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College, and are part of a joint Nephrology Fellowship Program with Cornell University and New York Hospital. We are proud that our Service has received teaching awards from the Department of Medicine and The Nephrology Fellowship.
