Carol H. Lee, MD

I am a diagnostic radiologist whose work in recent years has focused on promoting the practice of breast imaging in the United States through my position as Chair of the Breast Imaging Commission of the American College of Radiology and also through my activities as President of the Society of Breast Imaging. I have been involved in the development of practice guidelines and in governmental regulatory matters dealing with various aspects of breast imaging. I have also been involved in the planning of a number of educational activities through both the College and the Society. In my research, I am pursuing the optimum interpretation and management strategies for magnetic resonance imaging examinations of the breast.
