In addition to my clinical responsibilities and research, I serve as Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Radiology and Vice Chairman of the Graduate Medical Education Committee at Memorial Hospital, as well as Director of Educational Programs in Radiology. I am proud to help train new physicians, and I received the Robin C. Watson Award for Excellence in Radiology Teaching from our radiology residents.
I was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Radiology in 2002 and as a member of the International Skeletal Society, and I serve on the editorial board of Skeletal Radiology. I am also a Co-Chair of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Task Force on Oncologic Imaging and Therapy, which involves organizing lectures for radiologists and radiation oncologists from around the world who attend the annual RSNA meeting. In addition, I serve as an oral examiner for the American Board of Radiology, which determines whether a radiologist is awarded board certification.
