I am a board-certified radiation oncologist who specializes in the use of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), a technique that enables me to target and sculpt the radiation dose to maximize its therapeutic benefit while minimizing its effects on nearby normal tissue. I use IMRT to treat lung, breast, and prostate cancers.
My medical oncology colleagues and I work collaboratively to combine chemotherapy and targeted agents with radiation therapy so that we can provide the most-effective treatment for these cancers. Through this multidisciplinary approach, we provide state-of-the-art cancer care equal to that available at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan to patients who wish to stay near their homes for treatment.
I participate in several clinical trials in Basking Ridge, and I can enroll patients in these trials or facilitate their entry into trials open only at the Center’s main campus in Manhattan.
