I am a board-certified radiation oncologist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s regional care facility in Commack, Long Island. My goal is to deliver state-of- the-art care to cancer patients who wish to be treated close to their homes on Long Island, and I frequently collaborate with colleagues in medical oncology, radiology, and surgery both in Commack and at the Center's main campus in Manhattan to ensure that patients receive optimal care. While I have extensive experience treating prostate and breast cancers, I treat a wide variety of cancers.
My main interest and expertise is in treating patients using radiation therapy approaches that effectively treat tumors while limiting side effects. These approaches include intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), both of which enable me to target the radiation dose to the tumor and minimize its effects on the surrounding tissues.
I am also able to offer patients enrollment in clinical trials both here in Commack and at Memorial Sloan- Kettering in Manhattan.
