Jan Grimm, MD, PhD

I am a radiologist with experience in both clinical radiology and basic science, which I obtained in both Europe and the United States. During my body imaging fellowship and my nuclear medicine residency (both at Memorial Sloan-Kettering), I gained extensive experience in tumor imaging using MRI, CT, and also PET/CT. I am certified in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, as well as in radiology in Europe.

My clinical focus is on imaging of the liver, the pancreas, and, more recently, the prostate. I am particularly interested in novel activatable probe concepts and multimodality imaging approaches geared toward the translation of molecular imaging into the clinical arena, combining the research interest of my lab with clinical practice.
