As Clinical Director of Radiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering's Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion on East 53rd Street, it is my responsibility to assure timely, expert delivery of care by our highly trained radiology staff in a caring and compassionate environment. Our technologists and nurses facilitate the process and assure your expert care.
My expertise is in body imaging, with a particular focus on computed tomography (CT) of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis, including CT angiography. Plain-film diagnosis of disease and DEXA imaging (bone densitometry) are part of my clinical responsibilities as well.
In addition to my clinical and teaching responsibilities, I read radiology scans as part of several clinical research studies. These include an ongoing project to evaluate the use of CT in newly diagnosed ovarian cancer, and in a second project to assess the utility of three-dimensional reformatting of CT data in patients undergoing surgery to remove liver tumors.
