I am a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in caring for women with breast cancer. I am proud to be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive breast cancer care at Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s regional care facility in Commack, Long Island. Our Commack team includes a breast surgeon, medical and radiation oncologists, oncology nurses, a social worker, a nutritionist, and a lymphedema therapist. We work closely with our colleagues at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in Manhattan to provide the best possible care to breast cancer patients who wish to be treated close to home in Long Island.
I am a co-investigator on several clinical trials focused on improving treatment for patients with breast cancer. These studies are available to our patients in Commack. I also enjoy teaching immensely and am a popular lecturer in the field of breast cancer.
I am committed to providing my patients with compassionate, sensitive care during this difficult period in their lives. I help them cope with some of the practical challenges of their disease by coordinating their care with their gynecologists, primary care providers, and other specialists who can address the complications of cancer and its therapies.
