I am an internist on the General Internal Medicine Service. I specialize in providing care to adult survivors of childhood cancers and also to adult cancer survivors who received high-risk treatments. I see patients in Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Adult Long-term Follow-up Program. As part of this program, we work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, cardiologists, and others. I also see patients on the general medicine inpatient and outpatient consult services.
My research is focused on understanding more about long-term complications that arise from cancer treatment. I am especially interested in long-term cardiovascular complications in cancer survivors and methods to reduce cardiac risk. I also work on determining risk factors associated with secondary cancers in cancer survivors.
