Marc Z. Simmons, MD

I am a board-certified diagnostic radiologist working mainly at Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s regional care facility in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. My specialty is body imaging with a focus on ultrasound and CT imaging of thoracic and abdominopelvic neoplastic disease. I interpret fluoroscopic studies of the gastrointestinal tract performed at the main campus in New York City where I am actively involved in supervision and training of residents and fellows. My areas of interest include thoracic, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary neoplasms.

I participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor conferences and provide daily consultative services to our referring physicians. I lecture on genitourinary imaging both within Memorial Sloan-Kettering as well as at several local hospitals. My publications emphasize fluoroscopic and cross-sectional imaging of both oncologic and non-oncologic entities. I serve as the Basking Ridge representative on Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Quality Assurance Committee. I collaborate with my medical oncology colleagues on the lymphoma and breast service on several research protocols.
