Marguerite S. Lederberg, MD

As a board-certified psychiatrist, my expertise is in the psychological and psychiatric problems of patients with cancer and their families, as well as the ethical issues that arise in their care. I provide interventions to individual patients, couples, and families. In addition, I am the psychiatric liaison to the Melanoma Disease Management Team.

I am also affiliated with the psychotherapy laboratory. The lab conducts and examines trials to identify aspects of therapy that prove therapeutic to patients. My research interests have included studying the beneficial effects of psychotherapy and family-focused grief therapy for patients, and the interface of ethics and psychiatry in the care of cancer patients.
