As director of radiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Breast and Imaging Center, I use my expertise in breast and cancer imaging to join the multidisciplinary staff in providing specialty care to our patients. My interests lie in evaluating new technology for diagnosing and staging breast cancer, as well as in improving the evaluation of treatment response in all tumor types.
Before joining the Memorial Sloan-Kettering staff in 2009, I served for ten years as co-director of the San Fernando Valley Women’s Center at Tarzana Medical Center and, concurrently, as medical director of radiology at Good Samaritan Hospital. Prior to these roles, I was director of mammography and oncologic radiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles, and head of radiology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 1984-1991.
