Pari Shah

I am a board-certified physician on the Gastroenterology and Nutrition Service with a special interest and expertise in therapeutic endoscopy.  My clinical interest is in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic and biliary diseases, the evaluation of pancreatic cystic lesions, the treatment and eradication of precancerous lesions of the esophagus and colon, and the endoscopic approaches to palliating symptoms of advanced cancer.

I perform gastrointestinal procedures including colonoscopy, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, small intestinal enteroscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

I completed my medical school training at Brown Medical School and subsequently completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Washington University, in Saint Louis.  I completed my specialty training in general gastroenterology followed by additional training in therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Pennsylvania.

My research interests focus on evaluation of risk factors for pancreatic cancer and outcomes of endoscopic intervention.
