On a national level, I work to improve the quality and delivery of cancer care for individuals diagnosed with kidney cancer and testicular cancer through my healthcare policy and advocacy activities. I chair the National Comprehensive Care Network Kidney Cancer and Testicular Cancer Guidelines Panel. I also serve as an advisor to the Kidney Cancer Association, a charitable organization composed of patients, family members, physicians, and researchers dedicated to kidney cancer patient advocacy.
I have published more than 300 original articles, scientific reviews, chapters and abstracts, and given lectures worldwide, in countries that include Japan, Brazil, Sweden, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
