I am a diagnostic radiologist with expertise in the imaging of childhood tumors and other pediatric diseases. My particular research interest is neuroblastoma, a childhood tumor of nerve tissues. My clinical responsibilities also include teaching and supervising radiology residents and fellows.
I am active in pediatric radiology on both a national and international level. I am Chair of the Pediatric Radiology Continuous Professional Improvement Panel of the American College of Radiology and a member of the Imaging Committee of the Children's Oncology Group, an international organization involved in pediatric cancer research. I am President of the New York State Radiological Society and a past president of the New York Roentgen Society, which honored me in 2006 as its Distinguished Radiologist for lifetime achievement in Pediatric Radiology. In 1995 and 2004, I received Cornell's Robin C. Watson Radiology Resident Award as Best Teacher in Radiology, the only Memorial Sloan-Kettering radiologist honored with this award more than once.
