Scott R. Gerst, MD

I am a radiologist who specializes in body imaging using MRI, CT, and ultrasound. I have a particular interest in hepatobiliary and genitourinary cancers, and I collaborate closely with Memorial Sloan Kettering oncologists and surgeons to best plan the treatment approach for disease management. Together, we provide the multidisciplinary approach to patient care and research that Memorial Sloan Kettering emphasizes.

In addition to performing image interpretation and ultrasound-guided biopsies, I routinely collaborate in clinical research, with an emphasis on imaging evaluation for patients participating in clinical drug trials, as well as evaluating evolving techniques for body MRI and ultrasound. I also regularly participate in teaching doctors who are undergoing specialty training at Memorial Sloan Kettering.

I am a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiologic Society of North America, Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound, and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
