I am a diagnostic radiologist and nuclear medicine physician with fellowship training in body imaging. My role in the care of patients at Memorial Sloan-Kettering involves interpretation of positron emission tomography (PET), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, and general molecular imaging. I aid in the diagnosis, staging, and follow-up evaluation of patients during treatment. I am also involved in teaching, multidisciplinary research, and multidisciplinary conferences. I am an active member of several professional organizations including American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, and Society of Nuclear Medicine. I currently participate in several clinical trials evaluating treatment approaches for breast, prostate, gynecologic cancers, and lymphomas.
I am involved in the expansion of Memorial Sloan-Kettering's services to our Long Island patients at our regional facility in Commack, New York. Since we started providing PET/CT services at Commack in spring 2011, I have participated in performing and interpreting PET/CT exams for our patients at that facility. I am also involved in CT and ultrasound at our Manhattan and Commack sites and provide ultrasound-guided thyroid biopsies at the main campus in Manhattan.
