Since joining Memorial Sloan-Kettering a decade ago, I have been an active participant in regular multidisciplinary gynecologic treatment and planning conferences. Members of the gynecology disease management team, including gynecologic surgeons, gynecologic oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists, collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans for our patients.
I participate in many local and national multicenter clinical trials investigating the effectiveness of different anticancer medications for genitourinary tract cancers. The goal of these studies is to evaluate patients’ responses to these drugs using modern multidetector computer tomography, which allows precise measurements of tumors before and after treatment. My independent research is focused on detection, staging, and prognosis of ovarian cancer.
I give lectures at meetings of national and regional imaging societies such as the Society of Genitourinary Radiologists and New York Roentgen Ray Society.
