I have years of experience in providing guidance to people on their genetic predisposition to, and risk for, cancer. My specialty is in counseling women at risk for gynecologic cancers.
In addition to my work at Memorial Sloan-Kettering, I am an active member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC), for which I serve as the co-chair of the International Special Interest Group as well as the Telegenetics Special Interest Group. (Telegenetics refers to genetic testing and counseling provided over a computer network.) I also sit on the Phase I and Developmental Therapeutics Committees of the Gynecologic Oncology Group.
