I have spent my career at Memorial Sloan Kettering as a breast imaging radiologist where I interpret digital mammography including tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI and perform breast biopsies under imaging guidance. Currently I serve as Chief of the Breast Imaging Service and am responsible for the clinical, teaching and research breast imaging program at all Memorial Sloan Kettering sites.
At Memorial Sloan Kettering we screen for breast cancer at all risk levels. Screening for breast cancer when the lesion is small and treatable can save a woman’s life which is why I am strongly drawn to the field of breast imaging. We have pioneered high risk screening with MRI and offer screening with MRI, ultrasound, contrast enhanced digital mammography, and tomosynthesis.
