Clinical Specialist, Physical Therapy

Since joining the Memorial Sloan Kettering’s rehabilitation team in 2003 I have focused on treating cancer patients with lymphedema. Much of my time involves providing treatments for patients with lymphedema and related scars, and I also help facilitate improved fascial and skin mobility. In 2004, I helped to establish our outpatient Lymphedema Therapy Program, which promotes awareness and early diagnosis of this complication. I also lead the support group for our Resources for Life After Cancer program for patients who have, or are at risk for, lymphedema. I hold a clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy from New York University, and received certification from the Lymphology Association of North America in 2005. In addition to my Memorial Sloan Kettering work, I lecture at National Lymphedema Network (NLN) conferences, teach at the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy, and sit on the NLN’s electronic newsletter editorial board.
