Marina Guarnieri, PTA, CLT, a native Italian and a 2006 graduate of La Guardia Community College, was the first physical therapist assistant to join the rehabilitation department at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. She has worked in a variety of settings, from sports rehab to acute inpatient rehab. In 2008 Marina completed her lymphedema therapy certification and brought her expertise to Memorial Sloan-Kettering, where she has dedicated her practice to address the growing needs of patients with lymphedema and functional mobility deficits. Marina is a very enthusiastic therapist and truly enjoys working with her patients.
