Memorial Sloan Kettering has been part of the Westchester community for more than 17 years, providing exceptional cancer care to patients at our Sleepy Hollow location. We will expand services and programs for the community through our Harrison location – providing care closer to home for our patients and their caregivers living in Westchester who travel to Manhattan for treatment.

The new location will also address a growing need in the area for high-quality cancer care. The incidence of cancer in and around Harrison is expected to increase by 15 percent in the next ten years, rising to more than 20,000 newly diagnosed cases in 2025. This is due in part to population growth and the success of screening programs at detecting new cancers, as well as to the increasing median age of the population.

We will continue to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in Sleepy Hollow and look forward to becoming an active member of the Harrison community. Our plans include making space available for cancer support groups, offering educational events for community members and healthcare professionals, and bringing our quality-of-life and survivorship programs closer to home for our patients and their caregivers.
