Tony Corrao was only five years old when he was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer that develops in muscle and can also affect the bone. Corrao thanks his medical team at Memorial Sloan Kettering and his family for helping him to get through chemotherapy and radiation therapy at a very young age. Since his treatment, Corrao has finished school and achieved many important life goals. He emphasizes the value of being a patient-to-patient volunteer to support children with cancer and their families during treatment.
