Full Title
A Pilot Study Surveying Female Cancer Patients' Preference for Sexual Health Interventions
Purpose

The purpose of this study is to survey female cancer patients’ awareness of and preference for methods to improve their sexual health. This information will help to improve the understanding of the needs and preferences for sexual health strategies and interventions of women with cancer. The findings of this survey will also be used to develop sexual health resources for patients and enhance future research on sexual health interventions.

Researchers will be asking women treated for breast or gynecologic cancers to share their thoughts and feelings about their awareness of sexual health issues and preference for sexual health interventions. During an outpatient follow-up visit, patients will be asked to complete a one-time survey about these issues.

Eligibility

This study will include women treated for breast and gynecologic cancers who are age 21 and older and who can communicate in English.
