Description
The goal of this elective is to introduce students interested in neurosurgery or neurology to the surgical management of patients with primary and secondary neoplasms of the nervous system. The student will participate as a subintern in all activities of the Neurosurgery Service at Memorial Hospital including assisting at surgery.

Notes:
- For any holidays listed, students must consult with the Medical Student Coordinator to determine whether they are released from their responsibilities.
- In the Clinical Medicine and Oncology Sub-Internship, students will be expected to take "short call" once or twice during the week in addition to one Saturday and/or Sunday during the four-week elective. No overnight call is taken.
