The fellows are trained in all phases of hospital dental oncology. Areas of comprehensive patient care and study include pediatric cancers, bone marrow and stem cell transplants, hematogenous and solid tumor, and oral and pharyngeal cancers.
Clinical and basic science research in the areas of oral manifestations of cancer therapies is another integral part of the program. A second year in clinical research is optional.
