Fellowships: Oncologic Interventional Radiology Fellowship

The fellow spends 100 percent of their time at MSKCC including dedicated research time. This is a non-accredited fellowship.

At Memorial Sloan Kettering, trainees work with faculty interventional radiologists in state-of-the-art facilities, including three combined angiography-CT suites, three fluoroscopy suites, one conventional CT suite, two interventional MRI suites and an interventional PET-CT suite. Participation in our dedicated busy clinic teaches outpatient evaluation and management skills.

The service supports a research portfolio of clinical trials, and clinical and basic science research. Our small-animal imaging and intervention research facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art fluoroscopy and CT equipment. Fellows who choose this track receive a broad foundation in VIR with special focus in oncologic interventions.
