Students may be required to participate in weekend service activities. Holiday schedules vary by Service and Department. You may be required to be on-site during any of the following holidays: Labor Day (September 2, 2013), Columbus Day (October 14, 2013), Thanksgiving Day (November 28, 2013), Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (January 20, 2014), and President’s Day (February 17, 2014).
In the Clinical Medicine and Oncology Sub-Internship, students will be expected to take “short call” once or twice during the week in addition to one Saturday and/or Sunday during the four-week elective. No overnight call is taken.
